Things to do in London

I’ve been a traveller for a very long time, yet I still can’t say I’ve seen everything London has to offer. I won’t provide you with a whole list of museums, etc., because of this. I’ll give you some advice instead that I believe will be far more helpful.

Of course, I’ll start with the most famous historical sites and museums;

-Buckingham Palace

-British Museum (especially enjoyable if you discover a hometown artefact there!)

-Tower of London

-Natural History Museum

-Tower Bridge

-Sherlock Holmes Museum

Parks and squares that should not be overlooked;

-Victoria Park Chinese Pagoda

-Regent’s Park

-Hyde Park

-Leicester Square

-Trafalgar Square

-Royal Greenwich Observatory

From time to time, you can also catch a light show. It is nice to sit out there and watch the sunset. You have a chance to take a picture of Prime Meridian.

Some places to see;

-The Crystal ; Siemens Exhibition Centre. It is the world’s smartest building.

-Emirates Royal Docks; this spot is perfect for photograph lovers; it is a place for Emirates Air Line, which you can directly hop on with your oyster card. Honestly, I really like the view and use it several times a day.

-Earls Court Police Box ; Doctor Who fans can take a picture with the famous blue box. There is also a Whovian shop in London, but I don’t really recommend it.

– Forbidden Planet London Megastore; It is dreamy place for nerds, anime lovers etc. You can find all kind of stuff in there related to cartoons, sci-fi, fantasy… Prices are little bit higher but it is worth it. Until now, I’ve bought only fluffy Pokemons for my cats but of course you can also try some Dungeon&Dragons stuff!
